Tropspheric PtP

TESTING

The test consisted of a sixty mile point to point Tropospheric link from Elephant Mountain on White Sands to Biggs Army Airfield. A prime contractor supplied the Tropospheric link within a speed range of 4Mbs/sec to 20Mbs/sec. During the test time frame, the Army Patriot team passed simulated data and also preformed performance testing on the link. During this testing a Revolution Security appliance was installed on each end of the link. The Revolution Security appliances where configured as a layer three AES / RPM tunnel. They successfully passed standard traffic, sample voice and video traffic across the link. The video and voice traffic was created by using a “NetMeeting” style application that was sent laptop to laptop. The Revolution Security appliances were online for 8 days and maintained the connection. Revolution Security then incorporated bridging into the test and ran simulated data over the link showing our
ability to provide secure multicast.

A VIP DAY

During the VIP day, several top Army Patriot leaders visited our test. They were thoroughly impressed with Revolution Security’s ability to continuously authenticate the devices while dynamically change the keys for both the authentication and the cipher with every transaction. The increased security offered through the RPM™ technology was immediately noted as a better solution.
